1. We highly recommend you use the manual excerpt function within WordPress. The automatic excerpt function of WordPress can do strange things.
2. Readers do not have to be logged into your Word Press site to read and unlock your articles and content. So long as you have installed the plugin, and the reader has a Fraxion account and is logged into Fraxion Payments, then everything will work just fine. The benefit of this is readers have to login only once.
3. Probably best if you do NOT tick “Users must be registered and logged in to comment ” (under “settings > discussion”) because, with the plugin, a reader cannot comment on an article anyway until they have unlocked it.
4. Important: WordPress stores old revisions of your posts and pages. If you don’t get rid of them search engines can, and will, find and display them. Which you don’t want.
A great tool to get rid of these old stored revisions is; http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/delete-revision/ And it’s probably a good idea to run this everytime you post anything or make any revisions.
And you also want to make sure any postsĀ or pages you delete, you then “delete permanently”.
